Multichannel input upgrade to Surround Amplifiers
| Wir haben einen Nachrüstsatz entwickelt, mit dem man an älteren Surroundverstärkern einen 5.0 oder 5.1-Eingang nachrüsten kann. An diesen neuen Eingang kann man dann einen DVD-Spieler mit eingebauten Decodern anschließen und somit Dolby-Digital oder auch DTS in den Verstärker einschleifen. Der Umrüstsatz enthält sämtliche benötigte Hardware. Der Umbau ist aber schwierig und dauert einige Stunden. | We have designed a 6-channel-input upgrade kit for surround amplifiers which makes these amplifiers capable of the 5- or 6- discrete channel output of external AC-3 or DTS-decoder or DVD-Players with internal decoders. This upgrade contains an additional board with gold plated relays used in HighEnd-Audio equipment and the needed additional components like RCA-Jack and so on. |

| Dieser Umrüstsatz ist gedacht für Mehrkanal- verstärker, die keine oder nicht alle erwünschten Mehrkanaldecoder enthalten (Dolby Digital, DTS, oder auch Circle Surround). Voraussetzung ist eine 5-Kanal-Lautsärkestellung, wie sie z.B. alle Yamaha-DSP-Verstärker oder auch die großen Onkyo- und Kenwood-Surroundreceiver enthalten. Eine Liste der umbaufähigen Verstärker gibt es hier. | We have performed this upgrade succesfully to many surround amplifiers like Yamaha DSP-E1000 or DSP-A2070 to make them capable of the discrete channels of any outboard multichannel decoder. This upgrade can also be performed on any surround amp with electronic input switch and analogue volume control. We've performed this upgrade for customers in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands with great success, and our partners all over the world performed these upgrades many times in their countries.
We can add input jacks for as many channels as the amplifier works with. So we can add a 6-channel input to any AC-3 integrated amplifier. We can add a 5-channel input to most Yamaha-Surround Amplifiers and some other devices. On these devices the bass-channel is transfered into the surround amp via the main channels. For surround amplifiers which have only mono rear amplifiers we can only add four input jacks, because these devices don't support rear channel stereo.
